When reading the newspaper and seeing someone opinions about their views about 12 step programs and seeing the celebrities messing up their lives because they just don't get it.This has nothing to do with the 12 step program. The 12 step program works and celebrities just like any other human being has an addiction.
And pills and how to cure the alcoholic and other addictions from books doesn't work. Any program would work ,if they want it so badly. And there is no cure except from a Higher Power and working any 12- step program,One Day at a Time. You just don't give a person alcohol to solve the problem.And you don't give an addict a pill to solve the problem. Alcohol is a drug. Being honest with yourself is the key.
Everybody has a right to their opinion. but doesn't mean they are right. Freedom of speech.
